While Rachel Arthur has “brick and mortar” experience in healthcare, her passion is austere medicine where she currently holds certification as a Wilderness First Responder and NREMT with Wilderness Upgrade.

Rachel also brings with her management and field experience from Search and Rescue, disaster response and as a certified Wildland Firefighter. In addition to teaching Incident Command System coursework, Rachel is certified to teach Lost Person Behavior (DBS Productions) and “Alzheimer’s Initiative” (International Association of Chiefs of Police). Rachel also volunteers with Team Rubicon – which unites the skills of first responders and military veterans to provide disaster response services domestically and abroad. Rachel is a passionate and driven person, who brings an enthusiasm to instruction which makes evident her desire to help each and every person succeed.
